How are you holding up during this COVID-19 situation?
We thank God for our lives, for sustenance, preservation and protection. Blessed be the Lord who has not given us up as a prey to COVID19 (Psalm 124:6)
Let’s not forget that we are people of God and our case is different. Let not forget his promises and keep praying for our world. It is important that at this time we all contribute to the eradication of this pandemic, and if we can’t contribute to the research of the SARS-COV-2 virus or make vaccines, and we aren’t in the frontlines as doctors or nurses or lab techs treating patients and testing for COVID19, we can and should pray for our world, against the virus, for those in the frontlines, for ourselves and our family and friends, for economic recovery and for wisdom for world leaders as we navigate this period. We should proactively stand and intercede for our world (2nd Chronicles 7:14) and intreat God for our land (2nd Sam. 24:25).
I also thought to share some words of encouragement with you.
- 1st Corinthians 10:13
No temptation against man without a means of escape. We will get out of this better.
- 2nd Timothy 1:7
He has not given us a spirit of fear but of sound mind; We have no reason to fear. let’s hold on to the finished worked of Christ on the cross. He himself took away our infirmity and by his stripes we are healed. Mathew 8:17, 2nd Peter 2:24, Isiah 53:4-5
- Romans 9:28;
He will cut short in righteousness both the move of the virus and the time and process it takes for the development of a viable vaccine.
- Romans 8:11;
If you feel funny, remember that the spirit of God is in you, confess the word of God, meditate on it and get some rest, also use the right medicines. Attack the issue from both directions – faith and science.
We believe that this situation isn’t unto death/destruction but unto the glorification of the father (John 11:4) and soon we will see the end of this. God bless you all.
